THE FIRST LABOR

There's a reason we named this brand after the Nemean Lion — not after Hercules.
Because the lion is the point.
Hercules had twelve labors. Twelve impossible tasks designed to break him, set up by a king who wanted him to fail. The gods themselves weren't sure he'd survive. And the very first labor — the one that would either make him or destroy him before he even began — was the Nemean Lion.
Before the Hydra. Before the Cerberus. Before any of the other eleven.
The lion came first.
That's not an accident. That's the story of every great life ever lived. The first labor is always the hardest. Not because it's the most dangerous, but because it's the first time you choose who you are.

WHAT THE LION TAUGHT US

Hercules couldn't kill the Nemean Lion with any weapon. Its skin was impenetrable.
So he wrestled it with his bare hands.
He went in with nothing but himself — and that was enough.
We think about that a lot. Because the world will tell you that you need more before you're ready. More money. More time. More experience. More courage. More of everything before you're qualified to go in.
But Hercules had none of those things either. He just had the decision.
That's all any of us ever have.
